The Wuhan virus came to town…Isn’t that how everyone’s 2020 story began?

We were prepped and ready to cross The Gulf. Ready to spend the Spring in The Bahamas. First, a few weeks with family in Marathon and then off to Bimini. HA! 

We spent 3 months of lockdown in Marathon. I know, terrible place to be on lockdown, right? Yes, well, the premium prices did not change although 99% of the resort’s features disappeared. In addition, we were not allowed to leave the marina in the big boat, even if just to go diving at the reef. If we had, we could not return and no other marinas were accepting reservations. I know, I know, cry me a river. We were stuck in The Keys. Hell yeah! Seriously, pretty awesome place to be stuck for awhile.

Anyway, we finally started making our way North. Made it to the St. Johns river. Guess what? HURRICANE SEASON! Ugh. 

Most of the Country is still on lockdown. We can’t safely travel by boat. What now? 

Buy an RV! Duh!
